I want to be upfront and honest. After spending time at Miss USA, I really saw some girls showed their true colors and were completely opposite of what other people see on TV. However, I was happy that a few girls didn’t go that far because they weren’t as genuinely nice as Miss Connecticut.
As I have been watching the controversy surrounding Miss Utah following the pageant, I didn’t fully understand her question or any other top 6’s questions, so I went home and watched the question segment with closed captions. I have nothing to say about Miss Utah, but only to wish her all the best. However, it wouldn’t hurt to ask Nene to repeat the question if it was not well understood. It’s not a shameful thing to do; it doesn’t make you look stupid to ask someone to repeat a question. As some of you don’t know, I am deaf. I always ask people to repeat their questions or comments so I can make sure that I am understanding them fully before giving my answer. I don’t want them to misjudge me because if my answer is something they did not expect or doesn’t fully respond to the question. Continue reading
