I know I am so late with this article. Miss Mississippi Pageant and Kim Greenwood deserve this from Pageantrocks to talk about this experience.
It was the first time that Pageantrocks attended the “deep southern” state. I have to admit that I was scared to attend the south pageant. I was surprised about how wonderful southern people were to me. They were so good to me. I arrived in Mississippi in time for preliminary and final before I jet off to Mexico. I flew to watch one of my girls that I worked with for the Class of 2014. I was and am still so proud of Rebecca Mathis, who placed in top 15. I believe that she deserve to be in top 5 that year, but guess it wasn’t her year to be there. I know one day, she will be in top 5 again like she did in 2012. Rebecca is considered as one of “Veterans” with a lot of wonderful experiences reconnect with people in the pageant and outside world.
I also came to see Madison Brock, Miss Mississippi Teen USA 2013 to give her final walk and had a good relationship with her family. Madison stepped out with this breathtaking, gorgeous and unbelievable dress. That dress was a Hollywood regal style. I have never seen that dress in the pageant world. One of the best and favorite of mine that I will never ever forget!
I was mind blown away by a production that Kim created for the pageant. It reminded me like Miss USA one. She nailed every single detail for that pageant. I arrived at Tunica’s Hurrah at November 1 stand 2nd with Mathis/shumake’s family. I felt fabulous even more to have Myverick Garcia, Miss Mississippi USA 2012 in my arm at the pageant the whole weekend.
I fell in love with a few newcomers that I saw on the stage and would love to work with them one day when they compete for any pageants in Mississippi. I had a fabulous time meeting new people, which I love to do. I had a chance to meet Miss Tennessee USA 2014, Kristy Landers Niedenfuer.
She’s stunning in person and so tall! She’s a sweetheart. I was also able to meet Richie Walls and Brent Allen. They are awesome people.
I was not able to tweet alive at the pageant because the signals were horrible so I didn’t have chance to list all of the girls who made in top 15 and 5 for Miss and Teen division. I knew that Vaeda Mann would end up in top 5 and she was my pick to win Miss Mississippi Teen USA 2014. As for Miss part, it was tough one because there weren’t a girl that had her name written all over for Miss Mississippi unlikely Vaeda for teen one. Congratulations to Chelsea Readon for winning Miss Mississippi USA 2014.
I get the feeling that I would be back to Miss Mississippi Pageant soon and plan to visit Greenwood productions – Georgia and Tennessee someday! One of the highlight moments at Miss Mississippi USA that I was able to meet Kim Greenwood. I was star struck by her. I also was able to meet the Brocks family who I remain close after Madison’s reign was over as Miss Mississippi Teen USA 2013. And I was so happy to be there for my girl, Rebecca Mathis and gave her all of my support. She’s an amazing girl who constantly torches her fire with amazing passions and dreams. She is one of the girls that I look up to as a role model.
